+ Do I need ID?

Yes, valid identification is a requirement on check in. We accept a Passport, Photo ID and / or Driver’s License. We do not accept social service cards as valid I.D. Management may request additional information as required from guests. We work hard to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests and reserve the right to refuse accommodation at our discretion.

+ Is there Parking available at Bunk?

While we do not have any parking directly outside of our building, we do have a great discount with one multistory car-park directly in the building right next door to Bunk Boutique Hostel on Fairgreen road. (located opposite the new coach station) which offers our guests a discounted rate of €12.00 for *24 hours of parking to our guests. For further information please visit (http://www.citypark.ie) Please ask at reception for a discount voucher, once you have parked your vehicle upon check-in.

+ What time is Check-in?

Check-in begins at 15:00 each day. If you are arriving after 23:00, please let us know by phone or email.

+ Is Bunk Boutique in the city centre?

Yes, Bunk Boutique is situated just off Eyre Square in Galway City Centre.

+ What safekeeping facilities are provided?

Each dorm room comes equipped with lockers and a key is provided to each guest free of charge.

+ Is there a place to store luggage before check-in and after check-out?

Luggage can be stored at an area next to reception while you are out exploring our beautiful city or taking day trips along the Wild Atlantic Way.

+ Is there a curfew?

We do not have a curfew. There is 24 hour reception and we provide our guests with a door code so you may enter the building at any time you like!

+ Do you offer single-sex or female only dorm rooms?

We only offer mixed dorm rooms and private rooms.

+ Are any bedrooms ensuite?

Most of our dorm rooms are ensuite, all of our private rooms are ensuite and there are extra bathroom facilities on the top floor.

+ What methods of payment are accepted?

We accept credit and debit cards as well as cash. We do not accept checks.

+ What is your cancellation policy?

We require direct notice at least 48 hours (by 15:00 two days before arrival) of cancellation or the full price of the first night's stay will be charged. Bunk Hostel is not liable for the cancellation policies of other booking agents.

+ Can Groups avail of Special Promotional Rates?

Groups may enquire about special rates by emailing the hostel directly.

+ Do you have age restriction?

We do not accept any person under the age of 18 in the hostel. When accommpanied by a parent or guardian, persons under the age of 18 are more than welcome in our private rooms or in our Apt@bunk. However, special terms and conditions do apply for minors.

+ Is WIFI / internet available in Bunk Boutique?

There is free Wifi available in all common areas and free access to computer and printing facilties.

+ Is the tap water drinkable?

The tap water is indeed drinkable, feel free to drink away. Stay hydrated!

+ Do you have Plug adaptors available?

Adaptors are always fully stocked and available to purchase from the vending machine.

+ What laundry facilities are available?

Unfortunately we do not have laundry facilities in the building, but we have plenty of recommendations within walking distance and know of several companies who provide drop off and pick up service. If there is a will, there is a way.
